charlotte lives with her father in a remote area of Trentino, yet in truth she inhabits a world entirely her own. She struggles with mental health issues. When her father is hospitalized after a heart attack, Charlotte’s brother Leo returns to the village after ten years away. He learns that his sister wants to leave and suggests they travel to Switzerland together. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Charlotte’s life who has never traveled before.
