the Rostom is a night shelter for the homeless located on the far outskirts of a large city. Out of the darkness, between one cigarette and the next, emerge the faces and voices of those who stay in the dormitory for just a single night and of those who have made it their home. Men and women with troubled pasts, exiled in a present of perpetual waiting. A lost galaxy, suspended at a careful distance from both past and future.
